Choosing the doors for your home is a very personal thing and should be done around what you like and what you think suits your home.  But this can be made harder if you are unsure what will work or if you have unusual sized doors.  Here at The Door Store, we can solve all of these problems with our range of ready-made and bespoke doors.

Bespoke is just a term used to describe something that is made to your exact dimensions.  So if your doorway is 2 inches wider than the standard doors in shops, then you can often have trouble.  But because we can make the doors from scratch to measure up to your door frame perfectly, this isn’t a problem.  We can create bespoke doors for any home and in a wide variety of styles.

Another big choice around internal doors is whether to go with glass or not.  Typically, people choosing doors opt for glass doors for downstairs to allow the flow of light between rooms.  Then upstairs for bedrooms and bathrooms, often solid doors are chosen or those with only a small amount of glass that is then frosted.  This gives privacy to the room beyond while a small amount of frosted glass does allow some light into the hallway if required.
